Chancellor rejected Borrell’s insistence and obsession against Venezuela

The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Félix Plasencia, described the attitude against Venezuela by the President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, as obsessive.

The chancellor recommended Borrell to dedicate himself to serving the needs of European citizens, instead of trying to give lessons to Venezuela:

I remind you that Bolivarian Venezuela has leadership in cooperation, solidarity and development in our region; It is a land of opportunities for our people and millions of immigrants”, wrote Plasencia via Twitter.

The senior official reminded Borrell that in a few days, (The Bolivarian) Venezuela will celebrate its 29th election (since 1999), an event to which the European Union is invited; a process that will be open to the world and in which the solidity of democracy and the Electoral System will be ratified.
