National Government will denounce in Mexico conspiracy against dialogue

When ratifying that “the correct path is that of dialogue”, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, indicated that the delegation of the National Government will raise before the dialogue table installed in Mexico, the denounce about direct conspiracies against this mechanism promoted from Colombia and the United States:

“I have told Jorge Rodríguez to transmit the alerts, the concerns and, in private, concrete data on where the threats come from, because Venezuela wants dialogue”, he emphasized during the development of a new productive Wednesday journey from Aragua state.

In this sense, he affirmed that the positive results of the negotiations with the Unitary Platform of the opposition unleashed an adverse reaction among the extremist sectors linked to Juan Guaidó, the House of Nariño and factors of power in the United States, aimed at hindering the mechanism of concertation installed in the Aztec nation:

“There has been a reaction from the extreme right wing itself, from a sector of guaidocism, from Colombia and its oligarchy and from sectors of power in the United States that want to burst the dialogue, it is not the first time”, warned the Venezuelan head of state.

On Tuesday, the dignitary revealed that from Colombia there was a pretense to give orders to the delegation of the opposition present in Mexico to abandon the negotiations, which is why he denounced this aggression by the president of Colombia, Iván Duque.

However, the national president reiterated his and the National Government’s commitment with the paths of understanding, peace and joint work for the sake of national stability:

“We are convinced that the path is that of dialogue, respect for the Constitution, concord and national reconciliation”, he stressed.

In the second round of negotiations between the National Government and the Unitary Platform, two agreements were reached: the first, the Partial Agreement for the Social Protection of the Venezuelan People, and secondly, the Agreement for the Ratification and Defense of the Sovereignty of Venezuela on the Guayana Esequiba.
