The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, assured this Sunday that the Bolivarian Government has acted promptly in the face of the rainfalls that have hit several regions of the country.
This was stated through his @NicolasMaduro account on the Twitter social network, where he wrote: “In the face of the emergency caused by the rainfalls, we have acted quickly, on time, with the protection and guard teams on site, working, supporting the people. We reached every corner of the country, to the affected areas, in a Civic-Military-Police union. A Love Made into People!”.
It is noteworthy that last Friday, the Head of State reported that the rainfalls had affected 88 municipalities in the country, mainly in the states Mérida, Capital District, Bolívar, Guárico, Apure, Amazonas, Anzoátegui, Aragua, Barinas and Carabobo.
In this regard, he affirmed that the most affected state is Mérida, which is why the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force was deployed in that Andean entity with personnel specialized in immediate emergency care, as well as a contingent of 1,525 men from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the different Security Organizations of the State.
