The President of the Republic reported 2 new Covid 19 cases in Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that in the last 24 hours have been registered two new cases of Covid 19 in the country, for a total of 325 cases.

This information was released by the President of the Republic this Sunday afternoon, from Miraflores palace in a meeting with the Presidential Commission for the Prevention of Covid 19.

Likewise, it was announced that 137 people who acquired the disease have already been recovered, which represents a 42.2% of persons have recovered.

President Maduro explained that 86 people have been admitted to hospitals, 65 in the Integral Diagnosis Centers, 27 in private clinics, and 10 deceased.

He explained that one of the cases is a 53-year-old woman from Aragua state, from the Francisco Linares Alcántara municipality, El Venerable sector, a housewife infected by community transmission in a bakery. She was diagnosed in a community screening journey and is being held in the Cipriano Castro hospital.

The other is a 32-year-old man from Guarenas, Miranda state, interned in the Integral Diagnostic Center (CDI) in Petare.

Likewise, he highlighted that Venezuela has 27,780 beds in hospitals, CDIs and clinics, and 4,500 for intensive treatments.
