Head of State commemorates Communicator People’s Day in honor of truth and courage

This Sunday, the Venezuelan Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated the Communicator People’s Day, in honor of the Venezuelan people who broke the communicational silence imposed by the media corporations during the coup d’état of April 2002.

Through a message published in his official accounts on social networks, the National President acknowledged the work of the patriots who remained in the frontline of combat in April 2002, reporting the truth of a people demanding the return of Commander Hugo Chávez, after the oligarchy had kidnapped him and planned to assassinate him:

“With a high level of organization and courage, that people kept informing on the protests and the popular clamor that demanded the return of our Leader Hugo Chávez, managing to break the censorship and the complicit silence of the media that supported the right-wing coup d’etat. We are made of truth! Never again will we be silenced again!”, He added on the Facebook social network.
