On-site classes could start next October 1st

During his speech at the closing ceremony of the Bicentennial Congress of the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FEVEU) and its similar in secondary education, the FEVEEM, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced that on October 1 the school period could resume on-site classes in all the nation’s schools.

He specified that this possibility will depend on the progress of the massive vaccination process in the country and the compliance with biosecurity measures in schools and higher education institutions.

In this sense, the Head of State instructed Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, to accompany the education guilds and those responsible for the preparation of students for the return to the teaching spaces, besides recovering school insertion rates:

“The time has come, in October, to restart on-site classes for the Venezuelan male and female students… I believe that we will get there in the best conditions, I have faith, I am certain that for the month of October, when we start on-site classes, we will be in the best conditions”, said Maduro.

To Ensure Vaccination:

In this sense, the Venezuelan President insisted on the need to complete the vaccination of all teaching personnel at all levels, from directors to maintenance personnel.

President Nicolás Maduro, offered this information during his participation in the closing ceremony of the Bicentennial Congress of the Student Youth of the high school and university levels.

This chapter of the Bicentennial Congress took place between June 21 and 23, period in which the students debated on various issues that affect them, being one of those the collection of student transport fares through the Patria System.

In this regard, the Vice-President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that as from next week, a first stage will begin in nine states of the country.
