Russian Defense Minister Serguei Shoigu, confirmed Russia will consolidate alliances with three Latin American countries, these are Cuba, Nicaragua and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, who have in common the incessant attacks by the United States government.

The Russian headline stressed that historically, Moscow shares excellent relations with these nations, and assured that Russian support is required where there are threats against their sovereignty, including the open use of military resources.

He also pointed out that these South American nations are forced to equip their arsenal with contemporary weapons and prepare their troops for combat operations in complex scenarios; Therefore, Moscow made available to Havana, Managua and Caracas the necessary military support to defend their respective homelands against foreign threats.

Russia is not the only ally the anti-imperialist countries have; The People’s Republic of China has played a fundamental role by increasing its cooperation ties, especially with Venezuela and Cuba in different scopes.

However, Washington has expressed its defiant stance in the face of the influences of these world powers in Latin America, where it has military bases in a substantial part of the countries where they are still allowed.
