Authorities conduct damage assessment in states where was felt the quake

Nestor Luis Reverol, Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, reported on Wednesday that they are conducting a damage assessment in the states where the quake was felt on Tuesday, when it reached 6.9 on the Richter scale, and the one that in the morning hours of Wednesday, of 5.7.

Through his account in the Twitter social network he indicated that so far there are no reported damages or events to regret, the Risk Management System is activated and deployed.

Likewise, he referred to the natural event reported past 9 am by FUNVISIS, highlighting that the quake had a magnitude 5.7 whose epicenter was 9 kilometers northwest of Yaguaraparo, Cajigal municipality (Sucre state), with a depth of 22.9 kilometers, which was felt in several entities of the country.

A second replication occurred this Wednesday at 9:48 am with a 4.1 magnitude, 59.3 kilometers deep with the epicenter 10 kilometers south of Yaguaraparo, Sucre state. added the Minister through his account in the social network.

The Venezuelan authorities make a permanent call for calm and follow the instructions given by Civil Protection before natural events.
