Maduro: New PDVSA board will be a main pillar for the economic recovery

On Tuesday, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, participated in the ceremony for the inauguration of the new executive directive board of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) in the Bicentennial Square of Miraflores Palace in Caracas.

During the activity, Maduro said that the new board of directors of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) will deepen its restructuring to heal the wounds left by the economic war perpetrated by destabilizing factors of the national and international right wing.

“That is why I have appointed this board of PDVSA, to cure the economic, moral, political and social wounds, and for PDVSA to once again become a great lever for the development of investment, growth and diversification of the economic life of the country”, he said.

The Venezuelan Head of State recalled that years 2015 and 2016 were difficult, since the true “economic war” against Venezuela is the legacy of US President Barack Obama.
