The Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, considers that the strategy to generate disinformation and manipulation is part of a fifth-generation war devised by the world’s dominant establishment.
Thus he said on his account on the Twitter social network in response to what President Maduro said, in relation to the fact that there is a laboratory of lies in social networks in order to discredit Venezuela.
It is a method that seeks to “crush the truth,” said on Friday the Minister for Defense.
“Expanding the conflict scenarios to the cyber field, with social networks being its instrument par excellence ”, he expressed.
Earlier, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela is subjected “every day to a laboratory of lies through social networks.”
In this regard, Minister Padrino López added that it is a plan conceived by the United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
During his participation in the International Promoter Meeting of the People’s Congress, Maduro urged the creation of content that counteracts these campaigns.
