President Nicolás Maduro announces new directive of the Federal Council of Government

This Monday the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced the new Board of Directors of the Federal Council of Government (CFG), an instance that must consolidate an economic dynamic that drives the country’s productive apparatus.

During the plenary session of the Federal Council of Government, the national president emphasized that it is necessary for this body “to work hand in hand with the Superior Council of Economy”.

The Federal Council of Government must express the national union for positive action, based on the well-living of the vast majority of Venezuelans, men and women”, he emphasized.

The Federal Government Council will be chaired by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez and Guy Vernáez, who will be in charge of the executive secretariat, and governors Héctor Rodríguez (Miranda), Lisetta Hernández (Delta Amacuro) and José Alberto Galíndez (Cojedes), who join the board of directors of the entity “to put together a new work dynamic”.

“Let’s incorporate all the governors to the National Council of Economy, based on a plan to work for the recovery of the country”, he urged.

Were also incorporated into the CFG board Mayors Carmen Meléndez (of Caracas), Luis Jonás Reyes (of Barquisimeto) and Gustavo Fernández (from Zulia state), who will be the representatives of the mayors within the organization, as well as ministers Néstor Reverol and Tareck El Aissami.

In his message, President Nicolás Maduro insisted on the need to continue promoting the economy in the country:

I am determined to start the recovery of the productive apparatus with a mixed system. The privatizing matrixes will not return to Venezuela to bleed the people dry”, he pointed out.
