Chancellor welcomed new ambassador of China in Venezuela

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, received on Thursday the new ambassador of China in Venezuela, Li Baorong, to reaffirm the bonds of friendship and cooperation that will continue to strengthen with this new diplomatic representation.

Through the account of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry in the Twitter social network, it was known that the meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, in downtown Caracas.

On Tuesday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, received the credentials of Li Baorong, in an activity held at Miraflores Palace, Caracas, where he reaffirmed the intention to consolidate the union of the peoples of China and Venezuela.

The relations between both countries arose at the beginning of the year 1974. However, it was with the Bolivarian Revolution that they consolidated with more force.
