CEOFANB inspects Poliedro de Caracas to verify Covid-19 care

Military officials from the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB) deployed this Sunday night to inspect the facilities of the Poliedro de Caracas to verify its operation as a hospital care point for COVID-19.

The information was disseminated on the CEOFANB Twitter account, as part of the fulfillment of the instruction issued by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to reinvigorate health efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the registration of cases of COVID-19 with the Brazilian variant, the National Executive has adopted measures to combat and serve the Venezuelan population in the face of the threat of contagion of this coronavirus, which is more contagious and dangerous.

Likewise, the Head of State requested that the actions of the medical, health, police, and military brigades be re-empowered in their mission to carry out house-by-house investigations.

In Venezuela, positive cases of the P.1 variant of SARS-CoV-2 are currently registered in the Capital Region, Miranda, La Guaira, Bolívar and Zulia, generating a slight increase in infections.
