President Maduro convenes Farmers and Fishermen Productive Congress

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, ordered the holding of a Productive Congress to expose the productive projects for growth in the countryside, seas and rivers.

The goal of this meeting is “to show the economic miracle that is happening hand in hand with the producers,” he stressed, as well as to solve any problem in the productive sectors.

For this task, the Venezuelan Dignitary commissioned the Minister of Productive Agriculture and Land, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, who instructed him that “very soon, we can hold a participatory congress” that brings together the 26 farmer organizations, together with fishermen:

“A Congress to talk, with good work tables, with concrete proposals,” stressed Maduro.

The Head of State stressed that “there is a great consensus to recover the economy and make the real economy grow, produce and satisfy the needs of the Venezuelan people” while he directed not to stop listening to the ideas and criticism of the people, because that is what characterizes “a truly democratic government, a truly revolutionary government.”

Likewise, he indicated during a work journey dedicated to the development of the agro-productive potential of Venezuela, to perfect the productive model to build with vision (2019-2025 Homeland Plan) and the reality facing the nation.
