The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported this Saturday that on April 19, 2021, the Popular Government Councils will be installed by sector.
In his speech at the National Plenary of the Bicentennial Congress of the Peoples, President Maduro proposed this Saturday, to be prepared and articulated with a very clear and established agenda, with proposals for internal changes in the policies of the National Government and with a very clear agenda of advance in the specific Popular Movement, so that next April 19 the Popular Councils of Government will be installed.
“We are going to prepare to install the Popular Government Councils of each articulated sector and with an agenda. That day we are going to meet and days before we also have to meet to see the proposals,” he said.
The Head of State urged each sector to have a specific agenda of things that must be reviewed, changed and those that must be promoted in the Popular Council of Government.
He also reported that between now and April 19, the 4 thousand promoter teams of the Bicentennial Congress of the Peoples will be established in the more than 4 thousand Communes that exist in the country.
In the same way, he indicated that they will carry out the National Registry of the 34 Social Movements and the generalized registration through the Carnet de la Patria (Homeland Card) for anyone who wants to participate in the 34 Movements that have been articulated so far.
“This is a wonderful instrument to articulate millions of Venezuelans in the Carnet de la Patria, where there are more than 20 million registered Venezuelans,” he said.
He called for the establishment of a Consultation System for all pending issues and for each Social Movement, of each affiliate with its registrants through the Carnet de la Patria.
The National President called for the establishment of a National Higher School of the Bicentennial Congress of the Peoples, for the comprehensive, political, cultural, ideological, technical and academic training of all leaders and of the Venezuelan people.
Likewise, he directed the Communication Committee to stimulate a School of Influencers and open a contest for muralism, landscaping and symbolic communicational battle, on the occasion of June 24 through the Movement of National Communicators.
He proposed together with all the Bicentennial Congresses of the Peoples, to make a special commemorative design in style with the mobilization of the people for June 24.
Finally, he instructed all the parties that make up the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) to be present, united, consistent and ready for new battles.
