COVID: Venezuela registered 426 new infections this Thursday

This Thursday, the Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, announced that 347 days after the start of the pandemic, Venezuela registered 426 new infections by Covid-19, 425 from community transmission and 1 imported case.

He made it known through his official account on the Twitter social network: “Up to date 2,869,624 tests have been carried out. This represents 95,654 tests per million inhabitants”, announced Freddy Ñáñez.

He also added: “3,289 patients are asymptomatic, 2,812 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 382 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 127 in the intensive care units.”

«Unfortunately we report 3 deaths due to this virus: A 29-year-old man from Anzoátegui state, a 67-year-old woman from Yaracuy state and a 57-year-old man from Lara state. Condolences to their relatives and loved ones,” tweeted the head of the Communications portfolio of the Bolivarian Government.
