President Maduro thanked solidarity of political movements of the Sao Paulo Forum with Venezuela


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, thanked on Sunday for the solidarity with the nation and support shown by the various social and political movements, who participate in the 25th Sao Paulo Forum.
In a message posted on the Twitter social network, the National President wrote: “I am deeply grateful for the great show of solidarity, support and support to Venezuela, by the different social and political movements of the world, who attend the 25th São Paulo Forum . Our Bolivarian Homeland embraces you!”
Yesterday, the Head of State held meetings with delegations from Chile and Europe in order to strengthen ties of brotherhood and cooperation with the peoples of the world.
In addition, he met Luciano Vasapollo, Vice Chancellor of the “La Sapienza” University of Rome, and Zwelivelile “Mandla” Mandela, grandson of Nelson Mandela.
At the meetings, international delegates reaffirmed their support for the Bolivarian Government, while recognizing the efforts made by the Head of State to seek a peaceful solution to the situation facing the country as a result of the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States.
From the 25th until Sunday, July 28 in Caracas, is celebrated the 25th Sao Paulo Forum, under the motto “For peace, sovereignty and prosperity of the peoples”. In this meeting, in which participate more than 450 delegates from the world, is made the debate and reflection on issues such as the advance of neoliberalism and imperialism and its consequences, in addition to threats to democracy and peace, attempts at economic interference, social and even military policy in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The meeting has the participation of leaders, political and social activists of movements and leftist parties of Latin America, North America, Asia, Africa and Europe to demand respect for the sovereignty of the peoples and human rights, in the face of the attacks of the US empire.
