Venezuelan agro-industrial park is capable of producing 100% of CLAP foodstuffs

Venezuela’s agro-industrial park has the capacity to produce 100% of the food for the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP), according to the president of the Single Corporation of Productive and Food Services (Cuspal), Luis Soteldo.

Through his account on Instagram, Soteldo pointed out that “our agro-industrial park has the installed and operational capacity, to nationally produce our CLAPs in a 100% and with the quality that our people deserves”.

The top representative of Cuspal held a meeting with entrepreneurs of the private productive sector of rice and precooked corn flour.

In his opinion, in the last years that they have worked together with the Government, the participation of the productive private sector has been important to overcome the financial and commercial sanctions imposed by the government of the United States (U.S.A.) against Venezuela.

In addition, the public servant highlighted in another publication that in the training and standardization workshops and sanitary inspections of the National Institute of Nutrition, entrepreneurs and micro industrialists that produce “artisanal” pre-cooked corn flour will participate, in order to guarantee the innocuousness and quality standards and incorporate their products to the CLAP recipe, a program that serves close to seven million families monthly throughout the country.
