In this sense, he urged the Superintendency of Institutions of the Banking Sector of Venezuela (Sudeban) to carry out the necessary coordination that leads to the implementation of payment methods, making use of new technologies, and in this way to boost the economy of the country.

Likewise, he specified that more than 77% of commercial transactions in the country were executed in national currency by digital payment methods, through credit and debit cards, the Carnet De la Patria (Homeland Card) and digital mechanisms, while only an 18.6% was made with the use of cash in convertible currencies.
