COVID: Venezuela registered 72 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 72 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, of which four cases are imported from Panama, to sum 545,469 as the confirmed accumulated total.

This was announced this Wednesday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

Most of the contagions of the day are located in Caracas (31), Aragua (19), Miranda (9), Yaracuy (6), La Guaira (1), among others.

On day 948 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,820 as the total number of deaths. The number of recovered patients is 538,973 and there are 676 current active cases.
