The Executive Vice President of the Republic Delcy Rodríguez, reported that, under instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela will bring before the Secretary General of the UN, António Guterres, and before the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, a denounce for the execution of two Venezuelan adolescents in the town of Tubu, Norte de Santander, Colombia.
Through a message posted on her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv, the executive vice president confirmed that “in the face of the abominable murder of Venezuelan children in Tibú, Colombia, Pres. @NicolasMaduro has instructed Chancellor @PlasenciaFelix to file a denounce with the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, and before the High Commissioner for Human Rights @mbachelet, so that this crime does not go unpunished! “

In a second message, Rodríguez blamed Colombian President Iván Duque “for promoting hatred discrimination and xenophobia against Venezuelan migrants! Venezuela will go to all the corresponding international bodies to determine his responsibility in these acts of deliberate extermination against our compatriots!”.
She stated that “3 weeks ago @IvanDuque beat his chest in a show he put on in New York about Venezuelan migrants. Objective: to increase their corrupt coffers at the cost of the suffering of our migrants. Today, @IvanDuque is directly responsible for the extermination of Venezuelans!”.

Thus she indicated it when referring to the denounce made by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, regarding the murder of the two Venezuelan minors, who would have been arrested for committing a crime of theft in a supermarket in the aforementioned locality.
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez added that “Venezuela will activate all international mechanisms for the protection of our migrants in Colombia, victims of the policy of hatred and persecution of the aporophobic high authorities”.
This Tuesday, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, confirmed that the Public Ministry sent an official communication to the Attorney General of Colombia, Francisco Barbosa, to request to clarify the murder of the two Venezuelan adolescents, who were executed in the urban area of the municipality of Tibú, North Santander, last October 9.
Saab indicated that this murder is not an isolated event, and said that at least 1,933 Venezuelan migrants were murdered, and another 836 reported missing between 2015 and 2020 in Colombia, according to denounces from the NGO Consultory for Human Rights and Displacement (CODHES).
He highlighted that between January and August 2021, another 362 Venezuelans were murdered, for a figure of 3,000 Venezuelans murdered in recent years in that nation.
