A new right wing plan to boycott the installation of the National Assembly (AN) was frustrated, as denounced today the Bolivarian Government.
The financial operator is the fugitive Iván Simonovis, said the Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Carmen Meléndez.
They had planned attacks between last December 27 and next January 5, with violent actions from January 2, she said.
She said that the plans were guided by the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, and by former president Álvaro Uribe, along with the fugitive Leopoldo López:

She assured that the violent strategy sought to prevent the swearing in of the new members of the AN and assassinate the Attorney General of the Republic, Tareck William Saab.
They also tried to sabotage strategic companies, such as the Hidroeléctrica del Guri (Guri Hydro Electrical Plant) in Bolívar state, and to attack direct relatives of senior executive officials, she said.
She added that they were going to attempt on the life of a governor to stimulate social anxiety and besiege military and police units.
Likewise, the objective was to take over Battalion 825 in Aragua state with the activation of terrorist operators in the regions.
She stated that they intended to enter through the border with Táchira, Zulia, Apure and Bolívar states.
All the information was derived from the capture of several terrorists such as Ronald Enrique Flores Rivero. aka “Fido Dido” or “El Flaco”.
Navy Captain Zoranyi Salazar Maldonado and her husband, Ronald Jorge Rodríguez, were also detained.
Both were internal operators of the defector from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) Laided Salazar, who had scheduled a meeting for them on December 27 or 28 in San Antonio de los Altos or La Guaira, in order to finalize the plan.

Organization hacker and Anonymous / Theredshadow member Ismael Villamizar Quintero is being wanted. The government offers rewards for information about them, said the minister.
The day before, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, warned that Colombia intended to attack military units.
