This Sunday, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted that the people of Venezuela has had an exemplary conduct in complying with biosafety measures in the voting centers set up in the second electoral simulation, in the face of the Parliamentarian Elections 2020.
During the journey of balance of Covid-19 and the beginning of Christmas in our country, the Head of State indicated that “in Venezuela we are testing and perfecting the electoral system, the only country in the world that does a simulation so that society becomes familiar with the voting machines, so that they can see the biosafety plans that will characterize the electoral process ”.
Likewise, the dignitary congratulated the electoral power and the CNE for this second simulation that showed a great participation from the people.
A bio-safe candidacy:
Likewise, the first national president called on the candidates for the National Assembly (AN) who are on an electoral campaign to guarantee biosafety measures during their activities.
“I have seen many people without masks, crowds, jumping on the stage, without social distancing,” said President Maduro.
In this sense, he reiterated the call to Venezuelans “for your health, so that cases do not multiply, let not the electoral campaign become a factor that multiplies infections.”
In the same way, the Head of State made a public request “do not go crazy, I know you get excited in the march, in the political act, but health comes first.”
