In the last 24 hours, 164 cases of community transmission of Covid-19 and 21 cases imported from Colombia have been detected, bringing the total number of infections to 94,883. With a recovery rate of 95% of the total cases, this reflects that only 4,302 are active.

This was announced by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during a national joint broadcast of the Health Journey, together with the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in which she detailed that the 7+7 Plus method has yielded positive results for the Venezuelan people.

Rodríguez highlighted that Táchira is the state with the highest number of infections, registering a total of 56, followed by Miranda state with 24, Capital District with 19 and La Guaira state, with 18 positive patients.

Regarding the deceased, she said that unfortunately two women lost their lives because of this virus: both from Mérida state, one 87 years old and the other one 46 years old. She mentioned that both presented adverse health conditions.

For his part, the Head of State reiterated that this Sunday marks the end of the week of extended flexibility, for which he called for care and maintenance of the bio-safety measures implemented for the care of the Venezuelan people: “The 7+7 Plus method works, and with our conscience and discipline it will be perfected even more”.
