The 2019-2025 Homeland Plan guarantees the future of Venezuelan youth

The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, said on Thursday that the second Homeland Plan will allow the national sovereignty to be protected for the enjoyment of future generations of Venezuela.

He considered important the participation and the popular organization for the construction of the 2019-2025 Homeland Plan that has as main objective to contribute with the attention of the needs of all the Venezuelans.

“We have a great challenge, a great commitment, the workers of the different ministries in the field of international relations and the organized people who have joined; we all have to meet, study what to contribute, what to discuss to have the synthesis and give it to President Maduro in the coming weeks”, he explained.

He urged the popular power to develop and raise proposals for the Homeland Plan that can break the financial siege imposed by the United States.

He assured that the construction of the Venezuela power in socialism goes through the consolidation of international relations within a pluripolar and multicentric world.

“The international scope is transversal. If we talk about independence, what are we talking about? Yes, we are talking about saving life on the planet. What are we talking about? Everything has to do with the international. The construction of socialism goes through international, economic, political and social relations”, he said during the discussion of the 2019-2025 Homeland Plan at the headquarters of the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs.

Arreaza said that will be deployed in workshops to address the historical objectives of the Homeland Plan from the international perspective.

“We have to adjust the course and ensure that this country is independent, be socialist, a power, be part of a pole of a center of the world and a homeland that defends life on the planet”, he added.

He stressed the importance of Venezuela playing a great role in the international arena to continue overcoming the attacks of the United States and the European Union (EU) against the country.

The holder of the portfolio for Foreign Relations condemned that from the EU it is tried to sanction Venezuela “so that there is dialogue” when the Venezuelan opposition did not attend the Dominican Republic for the meeting established for today with the delegation of the Bolivarian Government.
