Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, calls for the cessation of repression against the Chilean people


The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, on Saturday criticized the silence of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and former Chilean president, Michelle Bachelet, before the repression exerted by the security forces of the southern nation against the people that manifests in the streets by the increase of the passage in the public transport.
Through his account on the Twitter social network, Rodriguez urged to raise the voice “against the ignominy” that the Chilean people live at the hands of the “Pinochet dictatorship” of Sebastián Piñera.

It should be remembered that the Chilean Prosecutor’s Office reported that 134 people were arrested for protests on Friday that left 41 Subway stations with infrastructure damage and various damage throughout the city.
