Unveiled milestone of3,200,000 homes built by GMVV

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, unveiled this Thursday the milestone of 3,200,000 houses built by the Great Mission Housing Venezuela (GMVV), a social program promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez, in 2011.

The milestone was unveiled in Lara state, and the housing belongs to the Robert Serra Urbanism.

The head of the family, Victor Gudeño, thanked the Venezuelan head of state and the national government for the care provided despite the situation of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

During the activity the National President stressed that, despite the pandemic, the target of 400,000 homes built will be maintained, in order to reach the goal of five milion houses by the GMVV.

“The pandemic cannot, and the tremendous blow the country is receiving, from economic aggression, cannot stop us. We have to build five million homes. It is a matter of honor, to comply with our people and have their homes, only socialism can build beautiful homes,” said the Venezuelan president.

President Nicolas Maduro indicated that he will approve new resources to reach the goal of building 400,000 homes.

“For next year we cannot go below 400,000 homes. Everybody, let’s build”, he said.

From the Aquiles Nazoa House in Caracas; President Maduro detailed that, despite the pandemic, Venezuela has delivered 200,000 housings to the Venezuelan people, “in a punctual manner, in a permanent, religious and steady manner, the housing for anyone who needs it”.
