Maduro sends bill to the ANC to give constitutional status to the Great Mission AgroVenezuela

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, sent this Wednesday to the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) a bill to raise the Great Mission AgroVenezuela to a constitutional rank.

The Venezuelan head of state explained that this bill aims to “strengthen and optimize national food production, through scientific, technological, technical and financial support, to farmers, fishermen, community members, urban residents, producers, as well as to all the actors in the productive chain of the country”.

“In this law we are going to create all the incentives, for production, financing, to create all the conditions of protection and support for the productive sectors”, added the National President during a work journey.

In this sense, he signed the letter addressed to the president of the ANC, Diosdado Cabello; so that may begin the debate in that body, and the bill is promulgated.

This Wednesday was reactivated the Great Mission AgroVenezuela, which will have nine vertices of work, in order to tackle all the necessary edges for the development and strengthening of agricultural and agro-industrial production in the country.

This Great Mission, promoted and created in 2012 by the Commander and leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, has as its objective to guarantee alimentary security in the country.
