Venezuela denounces Bolsonaro for negligence regarding the Covid-19 pandemic

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela denounces the government of Jair Bolsonaro to the United Nations for criminal negligence, regarding the pandemic that endangers the lives of millions of inhabitants in Brazil and throughout the continent, as informed this Tuesday the ambassador representing the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the UN, Samuel Moncada.

“Bolsonaro has intentionally turned Brazil into a humanitarian catastrophe with more than 20% of contagions on the continent and more than 10% in the world. It is the second country with the most fatalities after the United States”, published Moncada on the Twitter social network.

The two border states of Brazil with Venezuela have more than 62,000 Covid-19 cases, while the whole Venezuela has 3,062 cases.

“Bolsonaro’s contempt for the life of his people is a threat to Venezuelans on the border and to more than 9 countries in the region”, said Moncada in a letter sent to the UN.

The text adds: “Bolsonaro thus demonstrates that he is one of the most diligent disciples of the genocidal, racist, cruel and regressive policies of his teacher, the greatest enemy of humanity today and the worst President of the United States in history: Trump”.
