Second phase of flexibilization plans is expected to start on June 16

The second phase of flexibilization, framed in the 5 + 10 plan, is expected to start on June 16, said on Monday the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

In statements from Miraflores Palace in Caracas; the head of state hopes that for this new stage will join other sectors and states which did not join this first phase, due to the outbreaks of contagion found in these entities, such as in Zulia state.

“For the next cycle, the next 5 + 10 cycle, which would begin on June 16, Zulia would fully join the expanded five plus 10. We are going to control the focus of the Las Pulgas market, the Mara market, watching out for the entrance at Paraguachón”, said the National President during a meeting with the cabinet to evaluate the first day of the quarantine flexibilization phase.

During the meeting, the governor of that state, Omar Prieto, indicated that since the first outbreaks were detected, a plan was designed to stop the spread of the coronavirus in the state, one of the central points of attention, since it has a border with Colombia.

“In this union we have managed to occupy the markets where the outbreaks have been presented. The commercial corridor, which has been traditional in the Venezuelan Guajira. Colombia-Maicao, La Guajira-Mara, and the merchandise that comes to the Las Pulgas market”, explained Prieto during a videoconference with the Venezuelan head of state.

Until now, Prieto detailed; has been carried out a journey of disinfection and attention to the Los Filúos market in La Guajira, the Cuatro Bocas market in Mara, and the Las Pulgas Market, where the main focus of infections are focused.
