Venezuela establishes contact with Iran to guarantee the arrival of ships with fuel

Venezuela established contact with the Ministry of Defense of Iran to guarantee the arrival of the ships with fuels that sail towards the country, which will be escorted when entering the jurisdictional waters by ships and planes the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

The information was released this Wednesday by the sectoral vice president for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, and Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López, who recalled that the supply is part of the agreements between Venezuela and the Islamic Republic.

“We have already established contact with the Ministry of Defense of Iran, they will be escorted by FANB ships, vessels and planes to welcome them and thank the Iranian people”, he said.

Padrino López highlighted that Venezuela is a sovereign country that has relations with all nations in the world, he indicated, regarding the threats from the United States for cooperation between the Bolivarian country and the Persian nation.

He stated that hit has relationships and agreements in various areas, including in energy matters, as well as with other nations such as Russia and China, from which he has received humanitarian aid in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the other hand, the vice president added, regarding the frustrated terrorist incursion on the beaches of Macuto, La Guaira state, that the Colombian Defense Minister, Carlos Holmes Trujillo, has acknowledged himself “what cannot be hidden, the sponsorship, preparation, protection and financing that the Colombian government has made to terrorist groups”.
