President Maduro calls to maintain efforts to guarantee the health of the people

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on Saturday on all the authorities of the different levels of government to maintain efforts to guarantee the health of the entire population.

The president expressed his intention to continue coordinating with the authorities, national, regional and popular leaders, regarding the deployment to cut the transmission of Covid-19.

«I reiterate my call to maintain this great effort, facing situations and overcoming difficulties to protect the health of our people. Let us continue our march towards victory!» Says a message from the Head of State published on the Twitter social network.

To date, Venezuela registers 175 positive cases, of which 84 people have recovered; 27 are being treated in public hospitals and 12 in private clinics; 27 others in Integral Diagnostic Centers (CDI); 10 in home isolation and six in hotels.

The number of fatalities in the country remains at nine, as stressed on Friday the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, who pointed out that Venezuela is the nation in Latin America with the most Covid-19 tests carried out with 159,597, some 5,320 per every million inhabitant.
