Recovered 34% of Covid-19 cases registered in Venezuela

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, indicated this Thursday that 34% of the cases registered by coronavirus (Covid-19) are in the recovery phase.

In statements from Miraflores Palace, the Executive Vice President reported that in the last hours was reported a new positive case of COVID-19, located in the capital region, totaling 107 infected people in the country.

She also announced that Venezuela registered its first death due to coronavirus, a 46-year-old worker from Aragua state.

She explained that the deceased person entered a private clinic this month with a clinical picture of pneumonia, being treated during this time for the pneumonia disease. The clinic, three days ago, contacted the Epidemiological Network of the Venezuelan State, that carried out the screening test, testing positive for coronavirus.

“He was admitted to the public health network and, unfortunately had a cause of comorbidity, this person’s situation got complicated, and eventually died”, explained the Executive Vice President.

Up to date, the survey on the Patria platform has been answered by 14,779,644 people, 32,653 people have been visited, and 220 patients have been admitted to the Barrio Adentro System to carry out the corresponding screening.
