Maduro: It must be a national clamor the lifting of sanctions imposed by the US

It must be a national clamor the lifting of all sanctions imposed by the administration of the United States Government against Venezuela.

This was stated by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, when addressing the Venezuelan people this Tuesday, where he joined in prayer with all Venezuelans, to ask for the country, in times of crisis as a result of the attacks of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The head of state referred to this topic after the “European Union has given very positive statements regarding these issues, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, gave a very positive statement on the day of Today and the entire United Nations system is mobilizing so that the persecuted countries, such as Venezuela, can have these sanctions lifted”.

The President stressed that today there is “a global conscience that has been rising against the blockade and criminal sanctions” that are looming to attack Venezuela and, in this particular, stated: “We will continue until all the blockades and sanctions are lifted, at least during the Coronavirus pandemic stage (COVID-19)”.

He explained that this was one of the points that entered the agenda on Tuesday: “We were talking about this today, a set of legal, juridical, political, and diplomatic actions. It must be a national outcry. The entire national conscience thus demands it”.

Hours before, the Venezuelan Chancellor, Jorge Arreaza, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, valued Bachelet’s pronouncement, when asking the world powers to withdraw the measures of economic and commercial pressure that they maintain on certain countries:

“The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet joins the just, humane and urgent world clamor, considering that: ‘at this decisive moment, sectoral sanctions should be reduced or suspended, said the Chancellor in his account. on the Twitter social network.
