President Maduro points to US official as involved in conspiracy plan

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, revealed that James Story, former head of Business for the United States External Office for Venezuela, maintained contacts with opposition leaders Leopoldo López and Juan Guaidó to carry out this Sunday the conspiracy plan that was intended to take military installations in Sucre state:
“James Story, you are directing these bloody plans, sooner rather than later justice will come. See how far the officials go. We defeated your conspiracy, you planned to attack barracks and kill soldiers of the country”, he exposed during the special session of the National Constituent Assembly for the 20th anniversary of the popular approval of the Bolivarian Constitution.
“When I arrived in Havana (Friday night), the Chancellor (Jorge Arreaza) receives me and tells me that James Story, who was in charge of business in Venezuela and today is in Bogotá, at an embassy (without legitimacy) in Bogotá for Venezuela, is in charge of the corporation”, he said.
The Head of State stressed that on Friday were issued several arrest warrants, partially, against an alternate deputy to the National Assembly (AN) Yaneth Fermín, “to capture this bloody plot; They planned to attack barracks, to kill our soldiers”.
He said that Story called Vice Chancellor Ron and asked “what is happening with deputy Yaneth Fermín?, why did he appealed and searched, so you can see how far the provocation can get, it leads them to make mistakes, they got it wrong because we defeated the conspiracy they had for today”.
