Electoral campaign and fairs start on November 23

The rector of the National Electoral Council, Sandra Oblitas, recalled on Monday that on November 23 will start the electoral fairs and the election campaign for the upcoming election on December 10 in which will be elected 335 mayors and the Governor of Zulia state.

The information was offered from the Simón Bolívar National Education Unit, located in the Altagracia parish of Caracas, an occasion on which she stressed that “the electoral schedule is being perfectly fulfilled”.

“We are advancing as planned, as it has been scheduled, complying with all phases of the electoral system, guaranteeing once again the possibility of exercising the right to vote, the political participation of all Venezuelans and peace guarantors of Venezuela”, affirmed the official.

Oblitas reminded the 19,740,846 voters called to the municipal elections that the election will be made directly on the (voting machine) screen as part of the innovations of the electoral system, hence the need for voters to be familiar with the ballot.

On the other hand, the official said that the people’s participation in the various electoral events has confirmed the confidence in the electoral system, “the people are ultimately those who give certification to Venezuelan democracy, it is not an international space, of any kind , nor media, those who are going to ponder Venezuelan democracy (…) every time the people have been called to participate has come as an expression of confidence in an electoral model that gives all the guarantees (…) “
