President approves 200,000 student scholarships and increases them to Bs 75,000


During the celebration of University Student Day, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, approved 200,000 new scholarships and the increase of them to Bs 75,000 for university students and Bs 60,000 for middle school students.
It also approved the delivery of 35,000 hectares to the country’s universities “for the productive projects of our students. We have to make civic-military brigades of students to produce in those hectares”, he said.
He called on the university students who reject their government policies to work hand in hand, “They want to overthrow me, I tell them that it is fine, but that before they overthrow me they let me help them. I want to meet with them”, said the national president.
