President Maduro: In Chile a social revolution has awakened

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that in Chile has awakened a social revolution that points to a constituent (referendum) for renewal.
Referring to the wave of protests that have arisen against the economic policies and social inequality prevailing in that country, before the delegations that participated in the Solidarity Meeting held in Cuba, he said he was very excited to see the awakening of the Chilean people against the wild capitalism of the International Monetary Fund and the exclusion model:
“It is very exciting to see the awakening of Chile, it took 18 years of dictatorship where the interests of the United States were imposed, and then almost 30 years of the so-called democracy where the exclusionary model was maintained. It is a shame that the Constitution of a genocidal man is the dominant one, nobody has dared to change the Constitution for cowardice. Now it is the people of Chile that will change the Constitution”, he celebrated.
Given this, the Venezuelan president said: “Now the people of Chile in rebellion, in the streets, is the one that will change the Constitution of Pinochet. It’s exciting!”
