COVID: Venezuela registers 480 new infections in the last 24 hours

This Monday the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported Venezuela in the last 24 hours, registered a total of 480 new infections in the national territory (460 community cases and 20 imported).

In this sense, she announced through the Twitter social network that the state where the most new community cases were detected this Monday is the Capital District (97), with active infections in 18 parishes; followed by states Zulia (89) and Mérida (53).

Likewise, Delcy Rodríguez highlighted that, unfortunately in the last hours, Venezuela has added 7 new deaths from COVID19: A 78 years old man and a 72 years old woman from Yaracuy state, 2 men, 52 and 55 years old from Nueva Esparta state, a 69 years old woman from Falcón state, a 59-year-old man from Táchira state and a 73-year-old man from Zulia state.

Likewise, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, also noted on Twitter that from March 13, 2020 to the present date, the general statistics of the Coronavirus in Venezuela are as follows: – Total infections: 130,596 – Recovered patients: 122,531 ( 94%) – Current active cases: 6,825 – Total deaths: 1,240

Finally, Delcy Rodríguez highlighted via Twitter: “Today we begin the week of economic and social flexibility that will last until next Wednesday # 17Feb, as part of the 7 + 7 Plus scheme devised by Pres. @NicolasMaduro. Our call is not to lower our guard and to comply with all biosafety measures,” said the senior official of the Bolivarian Government.
