In a first phase, the senior official announced the start of 27 certificate courses in 15 states of the country that will train more than 1,500 people on important issues such as the rights of girls, boys and adolescents, women, conflict mediation and resolution, human rights for people with disabilities, labor human rights, on the criminal system of responsibility of adolescents and everything concerning social rights in the area of health, among others.
“It is worth noting that the Ombudsman’s Office offers two new specializations regarding International Refugee Law and Human Rights for Farmers, Peasants and other farm workers”, informed Ruiz.
