Risk Management System remains active for rains for 72 hours


The rains caused by the passage of the tropical wave No. 51 in interaction with the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be maintained for 72 hours in the insular regions, coastal north, Zulia, Andes state, Western and Central Plains, so the National Risk Management System remains active in the event of possible occurrences.
This was reported by the Deputy Minister of the National Risk Management System G / B Randy Rodríguez, on the Twitter account of the Ministry of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
His office maintains vigilance against the probable relevant rainfall accumulators that could be registered in the national territory with rainfalls estimated between 10-60 liters per square meter (lts / m2) in 24 hours.
In mountain areas this amount could reach 100 liters / m2, refers the state agency.
