Venezuela held a meeting with the Unesco chapter of NAM bureau


The Venezuelan ambassador to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), Héctor Constant, held a meeting on Monday with the Bureau of the Non-Aligned Countries Movement (NAM) , with the objective of advancing in the necessary plans, facing the next Executive Council of the organization:
“Fruitful meeting of the Unesco chapter of the Bureau of the NAM, which I preside alongside Ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Iran and Qatar as ad hoc treasurer. In the discussion we advance important plans for the next Executive Council and 40th General Conference of the Organization”, wrote Constant in his account on the Twitter social network.
In September 2016, during the 17th NAM Summit – which was held in Margarita, Nueva Esparta state- Venezuela assumed the presidency of the international organization, until the end of this year.
