President Maduro approved territorialization of the CLAP

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved on Wednesday the territorialization of the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP).
During a productive work journey held from Miranda state, the National President signed the entry into force of this proposal in which is allowed that each state of the country produces and distributes the different food combos for the Venezuelan families. A strategy that serves to reduce the operational and logistical expenses associated with high transport costs and thus arrive in a timely manner to the more than 6 million registered households.
For his part, the Minister of People’s Power for Alimentation, Major General (M / G), Carlos Leal Tellería, reported that currently 16 states in the country have the possibility of producing their combos in their own states with local production.
