Roger Waters reiterates support for the Government of President Maduro

The British musician recalled the words of the Liberator Simón Bolívar about the destructive destiny of the United States with respect to America. This is a new expression of support for the Venezuelan sovereignty.
Roger Waters, founder and former member of the British rock band Pink Floyd, again stated himself this Wednesday in support of Venezuela and the government of President Nicolás Maduro in the face of threats of military intervention by the United States (USA).
Through the social networks, the British singer published a photo and a sentence of Simón Bolívar on the role of the northern nation regarding its neighbors: “The United States appear to be destined by Providence, to plague America with misery in the name of liberty”.
Waters made reference with this sentence in the social networks to the interference of the Government of Donald Trump in the internal affairs of Venezuela.
In recent days, the British musician and social activist called for a demonstration in defense of Venezuela due to the constant attacks against the South American nation; a call that caused a stir among the fans of the musician.
Waters has always shown his position before the unjust political conjunctures and, after the self-proclamation of the Venezuelan opposition deputy Juan Guaidó as “president in charge”, the musician showed his solidarity before the interference by the United States in the democracy of Venezuela.
The Bolivarian Government has denounced the constant aggressions of the North American nation that seeks to remove from the presidency Maduro, who was re-elected in May 2018 with 67 percent of the votes.
