Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza celebrated this Wednesday the ratification of cooperation commitments and the strengthening of the bilateral agenda between Venezuela and Russia.
On his Twitter account, Arreaza reported: “Our Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and the Russian Chancellor Sergey Lavrov met today in Moscow to strengthen the bilateral and comprehensive cooperation agenda, and thus ratify Venezuela and Russia’s commitment to respect and defend the International Law».
On Wednesday, the Executive Vice President met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
The information was released by Rodriguez through her account on Twitter, where she wrote: “We had an extraordinary meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov. We have addressed our wide and diverse bilateral cooperation as well as the international agenda in defense of the UN Charter! Russia and Venezuela reject any form of interventionism».
Lavrov ratified his support for the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, given the constant coercive and unilateral measures of the United States against the nation and which have intensified with the recent economic, financial and commercial blockade.
“Russia will always be in solidarity with Venezuela and will counteract the pressure there is against Caracas, we will continue to defend the principles of International Law with you. We will be in solidarity with you, we will defend the right of each people to choose their own development paths and we will categorically oppose any illegitimate and unilateral method of blackmail and pressure», said Lavrov.
