The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, met this Monday with authorities of the Superior General Staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) together with the Commanders of the Strategic Integral Defense Region (REDI) and the Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI), to evaluate the defense mechanisms of the nation:
“I came out very strengthened and motivated by the combative morale of the Venezuelan military, which is more elevated and strengthened every day”, he said during a meeting with the governors and mayors of the country, from the Ezequiel Zamora Hall of Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.
The national president indicated that during a meeting with the Higher General Staff of the FANB, were reviewed all the defense plans that have been developed in the military bodies.
