The special contingency and deployment plan of all state security agencies remains activated in the national territory after the new electromagnetic attack on Monday against the National Electric System (SEN).
In this plan, the Bolivarian National Police, the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC) and the risk management system act to carry out patrolling with interaction and maintain all operations that guarantee citizen security.
This was reported by the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Nestor Reverol, in a telephone contact with Venezolana de Television.
He also indicated that multidisciplinary teams of inspections are available to the power plant system of the country’s health centers in order to ensure medical care for the population.
The Bolivarian Government, in a statement, said on Monday that around 4:45 p.m. «there was a national event of interruption to the supply of electricity».
The document refers to the fact that the first investigations carried out in Lower Caroni have resulted in “the existence of an electromagnetic attack” to the main provider of this service in the territory.
