Maduro thanked bravery of collectives protecting the Embassy of Venezuela in Washington

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, thanked on Wednesday the bravery shown by the collectives protecting the Embassy of Venezuela in Washington, who defended the headquarters after it was attacked by police forces of the United States Government, with the intention to illegally enter the diplomatic room.
From Miraflores Palace in Caracas, the National President denounced that “the government of Donald Trump is responsible in the light of international law for a serious violation, not only legal but moral.”
In this regard, he demanded immediate respect for the immunity and territorial space of Venezuela, as established in the Vienna Convention, an instrument that regulates diplomatic relations between countries, which came into force in 1964.
“The immunity and territorial space of the Venezuelan embassy in Washington should be respected, it is inviolable, it is untouchable and must be respected immediately by the US government of North America,” he ratified.
