The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, participated on Saturday from Vargas state, in the military exercise “Independence 2016”, that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) has made throughout the country, in favor of the comprehensive defense of the nation.
In this regard, the Head of State noted that today we have a Bolivarian National Armed Forces with a new doctrine, a new strategic concept and a new morality. “The fighting morale of our liberators with attachment to our history (…) our FANB is heir to a glorious history of our America,” he said.
He also stressed that never has any Venezuelan soldier come out to conquest, to loot or to dominate any people of the world, “We have an exemplary and impeccable history from the human point of view.”
“We are warriors of peace, of humanity and fair causes” stressed the President.
