Chancellor Arreaza reiterated call for dialogue to the US Government and the opposition

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, reiterated on Monday at an international press conference held in Russia the call for dialogue to resolve political differences in a peaceful manner in the face of the interventionist threats of the United States Government (US), the conspiracies and the coup d’etat led by the extreme right wing.
“It’s time for diplomacy, enough of the madness, let’s talk. They have not been able, nor they will, achieve a change of regime through force or with parallel governments. May the US government authorizes the opposition to dialogue”, said Arreaza on Monday, at the press conference held at the headquarters of the Venezuelan embassy in Russia, as reviewed by the Foreign Ministry on Twitter.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs denounced before the international press the attempted coup d’etat of April 30 by the extreme right wing with support from the US Government against the constitutional government of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
“It was a plan of the CIA – Central Intelligence Agency – to overthrow President Nicolás Maduro, to take control of the Venezuelan riches that are owned by the people”, he denounced.
In his declarations, Arreaza repudiated that the United States insists on imposing the Monroe doctrine in Latin America in its effort to overthrow the Bolivarian Revolution with the sole interest of owning the wealth of Venezuelans.
This doctrine, decreed in the 19th century, has been the tool of imperialism with which it has sought to dominate the independent South American republics:
“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela does not represent any threat to the United States, but in case of military intervention, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the Venezuelan people are prepared to defend sovereignty”, emphasized the Chancellor.
